I am an instructional designer who has 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing learning experiences.
I'm currently an instructional designer at Clinical ink, a technology company who creates data collection software to organizations conducting clinical trials. In my current role, I have updated existing materials including training videos and user guides to improve their visual design and the user experience. I have developed courses in Articulate Rise to improve the efficiency of new employee onboarding, and I am also creating interactive software training for new hires.
I began my professional career in a traditional classroom setting teaching high school social studies, and then spent five years building an educational nonprofit organization from the ground up. My experience working at the start-up nonprofit helped me develop a variety of professional skills from marketing to learning experience design. It also improved my ability to be creative and flexible, and enhanced my prioritization and time management skills.
Through my professional experiences I have developed a passion for designing innovative training. I have experience working with subject matter experts in a variety of content areas, and use data to drive my project design.
In my previous positions in program management, organizational leadership, and staff administration, I've shown flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoyed building strong teams.
