The project is a scenario-based learning activity for new employees at the Empire United athletics club. The goal of the project is to help new employees understand their role and responsibilities; specifically, how to open and close the facility with safety and security in mind.
The interactive tool was designed for a fictitious physician, who is requiring that their patients monitor their blood pressure at home. This tool will help the patient learn how to manage their blood pressure, understand their blood pressure level, and know when they should call their doctor to request additional help.

This job aid was designed for beginner tutors. All new tutors participated in an discussion based workshop in their first year of working with a student. This training was led by a staff member who both instructed and facilitated a discussion among the participants.
This training program was designed for volunteer tutors, not just to develop their tutoring skills, but to provide a holistic view of challenges that affect students in the classroom. The training series allowed our tutors to consistently grow over their four years of participation.
