This training was designed for staff members who supervise tutoring sessions. This training educated employees on proper policies and procedures as well as health and safety protocols.

(1) Tutors and students were both minors so they needed to be supervised by a responsible adult.
(2) It was difficult to find part-time employees who were reliable, willing, and able to work afternoons and evenings.
(1) Training former program participants, primarily college students, to be paid Site Supervisors reduced the amount of onboarding necessary for other staff members to carry out.
(2) Students were supervised in a safe and healthy environment.
(1) The organization gained reliable staff members who were dedicated to the organization before their employment officially began.
(2) This staffing model was more cost sustainable, reliable, and produced less turnover than our previous staffing solution.
(3) Staff time could be directed towards participant support instead of training Site Supervisors.
